Kenosha Updates Their Testing Sites Locations
January 12, 2021
Before you make your way to get tested, make sure it's the correct location and if they're open. Locations and schedules have been updated with changes to combat the virus, according to an article published by Kenosha News titled "Kenosha County Makes Updates to COVID-19 Testing Sites."
If you were planning on getting tested at the drive-thru facility at Gateway Technical College, you're going to have to go to a different location because the testing site has been moved to the former Chase Bank drive-thru at 5506 Seventh Avenue. The site will be open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The CEO of Kenosha Community Health Center, Mary Ouimet, is pleased with the new location because it offers a shelter for their staff. Anyone living or working in Wisconsin ages five and up will be available to get tested even without any COVID-19 related symptoms and can expect to get their results within seven days. Individuals that have been in close contact with a COVID-19 positive person must remain quarantined at home while they await their test results. Kenosha County's website
is constantly updating its list with testing sites in and around the county.
